If you have a live webshow, or you make videos, you know that overlays help add proffessionalism immensely. This tutorial shows how to create simple but professional overlays with Adobe Photoshop. With a video editor or a webcam effects software, you can add text to these overlyas and make them look even better. If you like this video, message me on twitter by adding @ethanling to your tweet.
It seems like you can’t listen to a podcast without hearing the word “twitter.” Many people can’t even go through the day with tweeting. I for one like to use twitter, but not as often as others.
But twitter is the new craze. It’s like bell-bottom jeans during the 70s. If you want to be anybody, you’re on twitter. Heck, even my local news station is on twitter. There are, in fact, so many people on twitter that it almost seems like spam heaven. There are companies now that pay people with lots of followers to advertise in their tweets. Twitter is no longer the center for tech enthusiasts or the microblogging center that it was a year ago. I for one never knew that it would ever get to be this big.
Twitter is an awesome tool. But the main thing is that its growing to fast for its own good. One solution to this would be to join the TWiT Army. It’s basically the same concept, but it is a smaller community and it is easier to get noticed. But for now, I am going to stick to twitter, but who knows what will happen.
About to go Tweet this post,
@EthanLing (my twitter name)
P.S. Sorry that I haven’t made a post in while. I am going to get back to it and streaming. I have just been pretty busy.
Yesterday, Apple released new a new line of desktop computers. This update was first expected during Macworld, but Apple didn’t fulfill that speculation. So, the moment you have all been waiting for…..SPECS!
Mac Mini:
2.0GHz : 120GB
2.0GHz : 320GB
2.0GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
2.0GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
1GB memory
2GB memory
120GB hard drive1
320GB hard drive1
8x double-layer SuperDrive
8x double-layer SuperDrive
NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics
The Mac Mini’s Updates(Shown Above) were, in my opinion, what Apple needed to do to keep the mac Mini line going. What Apple didn’t do what i would like to have seen is 2GB RAM Standard, and maybe under 500$, for all those people who complain about mac’s been too pricey, nethertheless this is a Very good Update which the large majority of the Apple Community were glad to see.
What I am glad to see come from the iMac is the capability to allow up to 8GB of RAM, the downside to the iMac Updates which people say are the fact there is only 1 20″ Model Available. Overall many people are thrilled to see the iMac Update as Many Expected it to appear at MacWorld.
MacPro
Quad-Core
8-Core
One 2.66GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon “Nehalem” processor
Two 2.26GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon “Nehalem” processors
